In the morning I woke up early in the morning and went to my mum’s room with coffee. I woke her up and gave her a cup of coffee. She was surprised and said thanks.Before my mom came to kitchen. I cooked the tiffin. She was very happy. As I was expert in cooking. I cooked deliciously. Both my mom and sister appreciated me.It was around 11am. I was braiding my long and my mom was watching it keenly. I braided my hair neatly. My mom praised me. With smile I sat beside her. She immediately bought jasmine flowers from the fridge. I was shocked. I wanted to grow my hair but never wanted to wear flowers. My mom sat beside and asked me to turn. I don’t want to spoil the growing relationship between me and mom, so I turned my back. Using hair pin, my mom pinned the flowers in my hair. It is very strange feeling. When my sister saw it, she can’t stop laughing.

In the evening we are watching TV and my mom noticed the holes in my ears. She asked me about it. I told my mom that I lost the ear stubs. She smiled and went to her room. I started to feel nervous. As I was expecting, she came to me with a box. And gave it to me. When I opened, I was saw two beautiful jhumkas. Without wasting any time. My mom kept the jhumkas to my ears.Front then onwards she started to call me as deepa.

Next day my mom and my sister are arranging their jewellery and clothes. I sat beside my mom while my sister is checking her bangles. They are tight to her. My mom took the bangles and started to put them to my hands. They fitted nicely. Soon my both hands are filled with bangles. My mom kissed me on my forehead and requested me not to remove them. I just gave artificial smile and said OK. When I saw in the mirror, I was looking like a girl with long hair, flowers, earrings and bangles.
