The next day I woke up around half an hour before my normal time, as I woke up I switched on the light and just stood there looking at her. She was extremely beautiful in that silver nighty. After some time she woke up and saw me looking at her.

She got up and tapped my shoulder, only then I came to my senses. I looked at her. Her eyes questioned me.

“I lost myself in your beauty” I said, I didn’t think of the words, they just came out of my mouth.

“It’s time for your duties” she said.
“Which saree should I wear?” I asked her.
She opened the wardrobe and gave me a saree.
I took it and went into the bathroom, took a bath and came out wearing that saree.

I went to my mother-in-law’s room and touched her feet. She wished me a good day. I thanked her and went to the kitchen.

“Why do you submit to that lady?” I asked.
“When I was a kid we had a maid in our house, she was very kind, she took care of me, she taught me many things. She was very humble and submissive to us. She was my role model. I wanted to be like that but as I am the only child in a rich family I got no chance to be humble and serve someone. I thought I can serve my husband after marriage but your father treats me like a princess. I thought I lost all my chances but I kept looking for a chance.
