I am not sure, how many crossdressers know the purpose of Duppatta. I will tell you whatever I know, The major purpose of inventing Duppatta was to hide our breasts from the eyes of others. So, it comes as a combination for Chudidar and pants. Then, they started to use it with Salwar Kameez as well. But, currently they are using it to hide the face during travel, either to protect their skin tone or to hide them from known persons, if they are travelling with their boyfriend or lover or illegal affair.

As a crossdresser, I would utilise it as a cloth to hide my lovely breasts. If not, then I can wear it as a half saree. Sometimes, I might have a less time to dress up. In those cases, it will be pretty hard to wear a saree and keep that saree back in place. But, Duppatta is entirely different. It is easy to wear as a half saree and we can fold that and keep it in place very quickly when compared to saree. In certain cases, I might use it as a tool to hide my face for video calls. In some cases, I might use it to drape around my chest like a s**y cloth.

In other cases, I can wipe my body and use it like a towel to drape around my chest. Sometimes, I can use it as a cloth to cover my lower part of the body another s**y dress.

I can use them for cleaning my bike as well. In some cases, I can use duppatta to cover my body as bedsheet in winter season. These are the some advantages or multipurpose usage of Duppatta. But, I was very sad, when I saw a duppatta in a crushed state, being stamped by so many people in and around my apartment. I badly wanted to take it and keep it with me.

But, there are many problems in doing so. If I take it to my home, I have to keep it in a secret place, but it is very hard to keep it safe. Somehow or the other my parents will find it out.
Secondly, the owner of the duppatta might come in search after some days. At that time, I might be caught, because there is a CCTV camera. I want to jeep that Duppatta safe with me, without being caught.
